Do you sell octopus?
I have most of Tessa Kiros' other books. Somehow this one just never showed its face.
Just back from a week on a Portuguese island I wanted a cook book which meant I could make at home some of the fabulous found eaten on that holiday. When I discovered Piri Piri Starfish it had to be that one.
When I found nobody seemed to be selling it (new) I was distraught. But good old Ebay came up trumps for me. One brand new copy was soon on its merry way.
It is all I wanted and needed it to be. I haven't yet decided which recipe to try first but guess it has to be Octopus followed by those divine little egg custard tarts. First I need source an octopus.....
Tessa's books are always far more than recipes books with lots of lovely stories, anecdotes and pictures. A great visual read.
Now I'll be planning a trip to mainland Portugal!

Good old fashioned toy.
It was bought as a Birthday present. As the child has not been given it yet I cannot properly rate the item. His father is sure he will love it. It certainly looks good from picture on the box! I am sure it will be durable, entertaining and educational. Just hope the child has patience but either way his Dad will enjoy helping.

Usable aid for lightweight items.
1 of 1 found this helpful I thought this was OK when it first arrived and it is fine for lightweight items which I use to pick up from the floor. I have since been given another brand which is stronger, able to pick up much heavier things. So this one is delegated to the bedroom. It is fine for there where mostly it is used to pick up tissues, underwear, socks and clothing.
