Excellent Motherboard for the price
The Asrock x-99 motherboard is a very good, stable motherboard crammed packed with features. It's user friendly and you shouldn't have any issue navigating around, setting up options to your preference.
Bios - The Bios is what you would expect, packed with features and options, it's great for overclocking and the live update bios feature makes it so incredibly easy to update your bios effortlessly. You just click the option in the bios to update and voila it's an automated process or you can do it via a USB stick by downloading the firmware at Asrocks site, or you can do it via windows. I personally prefer doing the live update in the bios as it's the quickest and easiest way since the bios as a direct connection to the Asrock servers.
Memory Slots - This board has 8 Dimm slots so the amount will definitely cater for your needs. It supports up to 128 gig of ram vs the Asus Rampage which only supports 64 gig so this board gets a brownie point for that.
M.2 Slots - This board has x2 M.2 slots one that runs at x4 (superfast slot) and a slower x2 which is still fast, The point though, not many X-99 boards offer you 2 M.2 slots but this board does which I thought was generous.
It also comes with 2 LAN (Ethernet) ports which is handy.
Overall, I've had my motherboard for 2 months now and haven't had any issues whatsoever. It's performing nicely and I instantly overclocked my 5820k processor from 3.3ghz to 4ghz which sits at 28c on idle, 42c to 45c when I'm gaming and is stable. Asrock supply a windows app that lets the software determine which overclocking settings your chip will do, stable although I was reserved and kept mine at 4ghz, I know for a fact it would have went higher.
It's a big board so make sure your case supports E-ATX motherboards but as it stands I've been impressed with the performance, stability of this board and have not regretted purchasing this. I was adamant in getting the x-99 Rampage since I'm a Asus motherboard fan though I'm glad I didn't, not only is the rampage about 120 pounds more expensive, the Asrock Motherboard feature for feature gives you a lot more.
The only thing I read that the Rampage has more of is 2 more USB ports but this has 8 which is more than enough for your everyday needs

High quality Fan lead.
1 of 1 found this helpful I know this is simply a cable but I was more than impressed with the quality and felt it deserved a review.
First off, the quality of the lead is very high quality. It's a braided lead which I feel serves two things on my checklist.
- It's braided so you won't experience leads inside your PC being tangled with each other, you're able to navigate the cable to your preference so your lead is tucked away and you have a clean, tidy looking system inside.
- secondly, the colouring, you have many options to choose from on what colour braiding you want (I choose black). And because the bare wires have braided housing it you don't have that multi-coloured bare wire showing inside your system which can be an eyesore. This high quality, very tide Lead eliminates this.
Another positive I noticed was that the length of the lead you get is very generous. I currently have a couple of stretched leads in my computer which is a pain since I have both a Coolermaster Cosmos S and a Coolermaster Storm trooper which are full towers so long leads allows you to keep your cable management tidy.
For the quality you get, it's value for money and I'm happy to say that I'm more than happy with the purchase and I would recommend this to anyone thinking of purchasing to purchase without hesitation.

Excellent Bluetooth speaker at a budget price.
4 of 4 found this helpful The sardine speakers I purchased as a gift but before I could send that gift I had to make sure the speakers were adequate. I'm glad and very surprised to say that not only do the speaker quality sounds exceptional, The quality build is also excellent and setting your phone up to connect couldn't be easier.
Sound quality - Sound quality sounds great, the clarity you get from a budget speaker will leave anyone purchasing this very happy. You get very adequate volume and I never noticed any distortion when I maxed the volume to maximum. Overall the quality and clarity is excellent.
The build quality - It's a good quality built speaker, it doesn't feel cheap and leave you more than satisfied. The only grievance I had was that the volume button on the speaker is the same button you skip songs with, but it's not a showstopper but it would have been nice to have a separate volume + & - buttons which are not shared with the skip to next previous/next song.
Connectivity - Switch speaker on press the bluetooth button and connect your mobile device to it. It's that simple and I never had any issue connecting or my device finding the speaker.
The jack lead you get as well as a USB lead are rubber flat cables of very good quality which limits your lead getting tangled so top marks for that.
So what can I say? The speakers surpassed my expectations. For the price you will walk away more than satisfied and at a budget price you get really good value for your hard earned cash. I would highly recommended this if you're on a budget and want a good quality speaker.
