Value in a small package

This is not a large stone. If it had been it would be worthy of five stars. Never the less it is exactly what is needed to give a good edge to your knives. If well soaked in water before hand it produces a good slurry paste to hasten the sharpening process. The 400 grit prepared my worn knives to then be sharpened with the 1000 grit.

This sharpener is very easy to use. Simply pull the knife through the wheels. It sharpens to a very acceptable level of sharpness. With a quick strop to removes the burred edges and you are ready to go. Do not expect the level of sharpness as with a stone. For quick results this will be the answer in most kitchens.
