A merry medical product
A wonderful garment that I bought for a young chap following his cancer treatment where he has temporarily lost all his hair.
The hat is the perfect garment to enable him to go out into the world without having to draw attention to himself.

Hot wax has helped my arthritis pain
My GP mentioned hot wax treatment for the arthritis in my hands. I had tried various ointments and exercises, but with little benefit. I am still waiting for the GP-referred physiotherapy follow-up. So I decided to take matters into my own hands , found a unused Le Creuset cast iron casserole and bought the pot of wax. I followed some guidance on YouTube and have been doing it twice daiy ever since. Not a complete cure, but swelling and inflammation has subsided and the tired feeling I always had in my fingers has virtually gone. And I don't buy any more ointments.
Highly recommended, but be careful about temperatures or leaving the wax on the hob and forgetting its there -- its probably wise to invest in one of the wax hand baths available because then the risks of over heating and forgetting will be easy t control.
