The board is small and Risk rules have changed.
The set is completely fine but sometime after 1999, Parker Brothers changed the rules. The board setup is now down at random instead of manually and strategically, but you can always look up the old rules online. The set includes a very small game boad and no "5-man" pieces, although it has wooden pieces and the box is really nice. If you are looking for the real deal collector's edition get the 40th anniversary edition made in 1999, buy it used as it's real expensive new. Otherwise buy the 1993 edition as it is the same as the 40th anniversary edition except the pieces are plastic instead of metal and the game board just looks a little different but they are essentially the same size.
