  I asked seller to please package this very carefully, as cast iron can be very fragile. They told me they'd use plenty of bubble wrap......package came and the cast iron waffle iron was crammed into a box diagonally; it actually changed the shape of the box it was such a tight fit :/ The base of the iron was broken into 4 pieces, which basically makes this antique item useless, unless I can find a new base, which will be nearly impossible. Seller has yet to respond re; this issue.
