Well built sturdy vintage electronics
The product was for "spares or repair" as advertised, but what I didn't realise until I got the covers off, was that it had already been got at and some components had been removed. Had to buy a circuit diagram to identify the missing components which I have now replaced. All is working well now and I have saved another piece of vintage equipment from being kipped, not to mention another famous name from the 70's.

The dog's watsits in terms of lather and smell
For those of us who still like to use proper shaving soap to "lather up" rather than foam, then the Palmolive Shave Stick is still the bees knees in terms of quality of lather (and smell!).
It's a pity the Cussons firm went out of business so that all of their soap products are very rare to find. I wish I'd snapped up a few multiple packs a couple of months ago when they were so abundant.
Value for money- only because there are only a few of these left and other types of shave stick are becoming rare so that they can command high price.
I will keep one back for emergency use only.
