Sumiko Black Pearl MM Cartridge in Spherical Stylus, Made in Japan

Best bang for the buck for MM carts

Luv the sound of Pearl/black Pearl....black Pearl is relatively cheaper version but still extremely competent in sound reproduction. Moreover, the compliance matches well with my DP23F so there's no issue with the arm resonance part. Like it's bigger brother Pearl--black Pearl also requires at least 20~30hrs to run-in. Now, with Shure discontinuing all phono cartridge manufacturing and perhaps replacement factory OE stylus, meaning that good sounding carts and replacement stylus will become harder to come by.. Enjoy your Sumiko Pearl/black Pearl
