The Guinness Book of British Hit Singles Vol.14 is a big hit with me!
1 of 1 found this helpful I have had various volumes of The Guinness Book of British Hit Singles in the past. I use them mainly to assist me in writing music quizzes. Because I am opening and closing them many times they start to ware out and lose pages. When I had to replace them I chose Vol.14 because it has a separate section with added information on all the UK No.1 hits from 1952 to 2000. As my quizzes are mainly set in the 50s & 60s this volume is ideal for me. I also recommend Vol.17, although it doesn't have the UK No.1 section it has been combined with the Guinness Book of British Hit Albums. It has all of the hit singles and albums from 1952 to 2003. I am very glad that I could still get these two volumes because they are all I need. If you want to see later hit singles you will have to buy the Virgin book because they have taken over publication but their version is not as good as these highly recommended two volumes.

A price too far
1 of 1 found this helpful It was £199 a few weeks ago, now it is £229 and the installation costs are too high. I was going to buy it but not now.

Rubbish
It did not work even with new batteries. When the ball moved the batteries came lose.
