Fantastic stone
I own several very good stones such as Naniwa chosera 400 + 800, super stone 3000 and king, and the Shapton 8000 is by far my favorite.
It puts and incredible sharp edge to a knife and it is a pleasure o use.
Very fast cutting stone and a very good feedback for a polishing stone.
The stone is very hard and it seems that it will last a lifetime. If you are serious about sharpening, this stone is a must.
