Nothing about these things mentioned in the description. Going to have to buy elastic for poles or get new poles. It would normally be customary (and good manners) to tell a seller about a problem before leaving them bad feedback without any opportunity to explain or offer a refund. Obviously this buyer thinks otherwise. I would have gladly taken the item back for a full refund.

Worth every accolade
I bought my S5IS recently in China to replace an Olympus ultra-zoom that had given good service but which had developed a fault. I take a smaller point & shoot camera with me wherever I go, but there are times when you just need a more substantial unit. The Canon is perfect for what I want. I am delighted with the focal range and the image quality is certainly good enough for anything I require. It has coped well with various extreme conditions, including winter snow shots and a lot of photography from aircraft. I have absolutely no regrets about buying this camera. I have since bought a wide-angle lens, which attaches to an extender that clips to the camera body. This standard lens can be restricting for indoor shots and the wide-angle lens really helps. I will probably also buy a 2X telephoto lens that uses the same attachment. I can see myself getting several years of productive use from this camera.

Typical excellent DK coverage - all the guide you will need
Outstanding guide to Ireland, with typical clear DK format and lots of illustrations. All we needed for a two week tour of this tremendous and beautiful country.
