Does not work for my 64bit laptop

I followed all installation instructions but found when turning on my laptop etc that it's drive was working at full capacity to run the AVG as it was only a 32bit software. Baring in mind my laptop is new and running off of windows 10. So I asked for help but nothing really came of it
