Pass on any Dell Inspiron!
1 of 2 found this helpful You better buy an extra one for parts because they are horrible laptops. I bought 2 brand new 1525 laptops and the hinges/lid broke on one and fixed under warranty, and the hinges/lid broke on the other one in 13 months, one month out of warranty! It cost me a fortune to get the hinges/lid fixed. Both batteries were bad after just one year and I replaced both of them too. Then, the hard drive went out, more money out of pocket! Oh, and I forgot to mention I just bought 2 power supplies because they went bad after one year too. On Sunday, the screen is blurry on one and I junked it! I spent a total of $1,560 and I made one good one out of the parts of two! Look on EBAY, everyone is selling their old 1525 for parts!
