cheap nasty and mispresented. read the box for proof of what I state here.
this puller/hoist is not rated for 2 tons, but only1000lbs when being used for lifting

Outdated and as such suitable only for students of the historic aspects of the craft.
This book was when first written, a very comprehensive, and informative guide to woodturning. Unfortunately the book was first published in 1957, and though revised in 1987 the vast improvements in both tools, and techniques in the last 33years leave a gaping void in a would-be woodturners knowledge,

I'm pleased ,other than that the pointer arm is too tight fitting on the aerial and it doesn't respond quickly enough, and I don't want to take down the mast again . I hope it will wear in. The previous unit lasted well, and only broke due to rough handling on my part. An excellent simple product.
