This is my first time using a dishwasher water softener
I don't really have anything to compare it with, so I can't really attest to the quality. This is my first month using this dishwasher. At first I just used a rinse agent, and my dishes were pretty spotless. Then I added the salt, and they continued to look great. We also have very hard water, so we'll continue using the salt, but may try eliminating the rinse aid to see what happens. Dishwasher salt is absurdly expensive, so buying several bags was cost efficient. I'll continue my hunt for cheaper salt. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase.
