Selling my Father s Collection that extended from when he started with Hornby Dublo and Tri-Ang in the 1960 s through to the early 2000 s. I hope you all enjoy looking and buying as much as I have enjoyed photographing and sharing.
Railroad Range but still a great looking 47 Class Diesel
Hornby Railroad Range R2677 is as you would expect from a Railroad Range Locomotive.
The livery may be missing some of the finesse of the Collector range but is still striking in the red, black and yellow ends with the white pin stripes down the sides.
The interior view of the cab's at either end are white and do a satisfactory job as such.
The running is smooth and with the Ringfield Motor you know what you are going to get and they are an easy motor to service.
The other thing with these locos is that there is plenty of room under the chassis to add DCC and speaker with a moderate level of skill required to do the soldering of the DCC chip to the frame and motor. There are plenty of good u-tube videos on how to do just that.
