The best of Grand Seiko 9f
Accurate to within +5 seconds per year, though owners are reporting even better.
Pictures do not capture the depth and dynamic nature of the blue dial.
Perfectly balanced dial layout, easy to read, red tipped seconds hand always lands bang on the indicators due to the proprietary seiko anti whiplash system, dual pulse motor performs like nothing else. Fits low and snug to the wrist as it should. Recommended service interval of 50, yes fifty, five oh, years. Battery lasts for approx 3 years and will give a 2 second tick indicator when it is time to change the battery.
I own Patek, Vacheron, Breguet, JLC, AP, a tourbillon, Omega, Rolex, etc. This has "at least" as good of build quality and fit and finish as any of these. Best value for the money. Yes it is a "quartz" watch, just as a Bently is "only a car"
