Bad product
1 of 1 found this helpful As soon as I plugged my external HD into computer using this adapter, the computer shut down. Or maybe it was the circuit breaker in the UPS device that prevented the damage from the short that this thing somehow caused. It is beyond me to explain exactly how it happened but I feel lucky to have my PC alive after this.
