Play 1's superb. Sonos - are the best in the business
5 of 5 found this helpful Excellent sound quality, clear with nice mid tones and surprisingly deep bass especially considering their size, they fill even a large room very very well.
The Sonos app is much improved in recent years. Nice to get 2 play 1's and pair them up on the app if you have an iphone or ipad you can use the TruePlay to balance the speakers to your rooms accoustics!
These are WiFi speakers and rely on your current home WiFi or a Sonos Bridge or the more upto date Sonos Boost .
Without a doubt Sonos are the best in the business still winning awards
I started with a Sonos Play 3 eight years ago and been adding speakers ever since, with a 9 speaker system our parties are legendary!
