Classic that does not disappoint
Executants are in accord. Better shaped performance of Left hand concerto than either Cluytens or Dutoit discs which are both fine in different ways.
Sound image in the G major concerto a fault of the engineering but does not hide the profundity of the musicianship.

Idiomatic performances. For my taste the singing is too strident but I like very few operas. CDs in very good condition. Glad to hear the music that Prokofiev omitted from his glorious 3rd Symphony. Will get better acquainted with the opera.
