BMW AC fast charge cable
1 of 1 found this helpful This cable is what is required to charge your car using AC fast chargers for public and private ones, that require your own cable. This particular 'type 2' cable is well designed as it has just enough length to reach over and across the car (BMW i3) if the charger position is on the diagonally opposite side of the plug in socket on the car (the cable rests over the roof). What I particularly like is that they have designed it to self coil when you lower it to the floor so making it quick and easy to stow in its bag again. So in effect it does what it is meant to do, but BMW have thought about the convenience and use of the cable too.
