1 of 1 found this helpful A powerful, well poised piece of kit, built using some novel design. Plenty of punch to drive 50mm 18g brads home in marine ply yet refined enough to drive 16mm brads into obeche mouldings. Driving 100's of brads hardly dents the battery's capacity.
The nailer is simple to operate (once you are aware of its safety features) and has a "lockout" preventing you firing the last 3 or 4 brads. This lockout is a deliberate (and thoughtful) feature preventing "dry firing", though some mistakenly see it as a flaw of the machine.
Used carefully, this machine will last for 100,000 + brads. Follow the instructions with respect to cleaning and maintenance. DO NOT use oil based lubricants (such as WD40) etc as the oil will destroy the buna O-rings. When the time comes, the wear mechanism causing failure will the o-rings. Easily replaced by anyone handy with machinery and lightly lubricated with silicone grease..
Well packaged, brand new item (manufactured in last quarter 2017) arrived on time..
