Good quality pictures from a small camera.

I bought the Fujifilm X-M1 because the sensor is the same one used in their professional range and I wanted to try out Fujifilm cameras. I am very pleased with the results: really sharp detailed pictures. Is it easy to use? Yes; if you are familiar with cameras the features don't vary much. The only annoyance I have with it is that unless you pick the camera up carefully it's too easy to touch controls and change the settings when it's turned on. But that is because it's small and the controls need to be somewhere, though perhaps the buttons/wheels could do with needing a harder push. Is the image quality good? Yes to that. The sensor produces really sharp images and the kit lens is optically really good. Is it good value? The list price is far too high but there are bargains to be had by searching around. £250-£260 sounds about right. What do I like about it? That it fits in a (large) pocket and gives comparable results to my SLR. The compromise is that it has no viewfinder and some features are more basic but it does not disappoint when you look at the results you can get if you master its handling.
