More for less
Ok.. so this does the job.. just not as you expect. 1st. the spindle which increases/decreases distance has to be lubricated with a water repellent grease... or the fan motion will not activate. 2nd. ALL joints which have a seal will need to be reinforced with another rubber seal/O ring or it will LEAK!!! Otherwise, lock & load & repel !!!!

Had one of these for years so was pleased to find I could replace when it conked out. Lightweight and ideal for tall hedges. Original batteries still
Had one of these for years so was pleased to find I could replace when it conked out. Lightweight and ideal for tall hedges. Original batteries still going strong and will easily trim a 100 foot hedge on both sides and take a little off the top before needing recharge.

Having tried several "paint & varnish strippers" since the onset of the EU I can see why, if left to their own devices, they would have lost two World Wars !
They simply have no idea of what removal means. Or, is it a financial ploy to increase revenue by selling vast amounts of product to achieve the end result ? Probably a combination of the two.
I have a wooden door, to which the previous owner had allegedly applied seven coats of assorted paint. Primer, undercoat and gloss, the last being acrylic. In the old days two coats of stripper would have seen this down to bare wood.
Having followed this product's instructions, and thereby using virtually all the contents, I have managed to remove one coat, the coat underneath being untouched and as solid as the day it was applied.
Fortunately I have a blow lamp, the contents of which the EU have been unable to find an alternative for so it's still flammable. With this the job has been finished.
In my opinion this product only just manages to avoid prosecution under the Supply of Goods Act because it did remove some product. As to its claim to remove multiple layers... dream on.
