Cable works as expected
1 of 1 found this helpful I have a Canon video camera with several DV cassets. Fortunately they still work, but I wanted to import the more than 10 years old videos to my video editing software and save them on my computer. I had an old computer with FireWire IEEE1394 port in front, but no cable. I ordered this cable from ebay and it worked perfect. The small plug fits in the camera, the larger plug fits in the computer. Then I just had to capture video with my software, and it work as a charm. Now I have all my old videos imported to my computer.
