I would recommend for those users who are DD-WRT savy.
This product was modified from Linksys standard firmware to DD-WRT firmware, so this review does not apply to the standard linksys product.
I am well pleased with the performance of the unit in my usage, which is not challenging to the limits of the device or the firmware at all.

Non-marring, but not as soft as I had hoped
The quality is very high. This is a pair of conventional slip-joint pliers with the jaws capped with liners of a nylon like plastic, with well thought out serrations, including a groove to allow end gripping of a shaft for example, in line with the length of the pliers.
However, since the jaws are of hard nylon with serrations, the will still mar very soft materials like tin, lead, and so on. Also the grip on a slick surface like plated metal or glass, is poor compared to a jaw lined with a high durometer rubber, as I would have preferred.

Fits the lens, and does the job as well as the OEM product, at a much lower cost.
