buy a better one
tried to cut 1.2mm mtb gear cable and failed. went and bought a decent pair of cutters from local hardware store

not a good grinder for herbs
4 of 4 found this helpful high quality materials but a poor design.
one half has 2 different sizes of the shark type teeth while the bottom half has a narrower, hexagonal pin type. this means that the gaps between the sections are too large which results in a poor grind with alot of clumps.
i would compare the the results with those from a wooden type grinder with pins
