Great lens for a Z50. Operates in crop sensor mode with other Z camera bodies

The Nikon Z lenses are remarkably clear mostly due to the larger opening to the camera body. This lens did surprise me with the clarity of photos from such a lightweight lens. I purchased the lens with the intent of using it on my Z50 and later migrating to a full sensor body. Although the lens works with my other Nikon Z, it only works in a DX mode, using the FX sensor in a crop mode and not using the full resolution of the body.

A needed accessory for planetary and dark object viewing

This filter worked great to increase contrast when looking at the bands of Jupiter, and the lagoon nebula!
