Was very careful when dismantling, so can only assume not present when arrived. Luckily, I managed to source another pin to replace, so panic over. Look good just waiting to fit. Does the job with a good length of cable. Easy to change combination code. Would prefer metal over plastic casing.

Handy workshop jack!
I have a cruiser type motorcycle with only a side stand. This is a very helpful item for lifting the front or rear wheels and keeping the bike upright for general maintenance.
