Genuine Panasonic remote replacement - worth the premium.
I've had a Panasonic Blu-Ray Recorder for seven years. The machine still works perfectly, but some of the navigation arrow buttons on the original remote were not playing ball at all, which was becoming extremely frustrating. This new one is a genuine Panasonic product, not exactly the same as the original, but all the important functions are all present and correct, with only one or two repositioned. Not cheap, but worth the extra to have one which I am confident does everything it is supposed to. Very happy.

Memories of Melanie - an underrated talent from the 1970s
I have had this album on slightly crackly vinyl for over 35 years, which is why I haven't played it for ages. Now I have a shiny new CD edition of it I have no excuses for not playing it frequently, and plenty of reasons for doing so! Great covers of the Stones' "Wild Horses", and a wonderfully emotive rendition of Jim Croce's "Lover's Cross", plus Randy Newman's "I Think it's Going to Rain Today" and a delightfully retro-sounding cover of Carole King's "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?", which I remember falling in love with at the time of release, as it got a lot of airplay on the radio. Melanie was, and is, an interestingly quirky vocalist, who came to fame at a time when folk-tinged singer-songwriters were in the ascendant. A little old-fashioned today? Quite possibly, but then so am I, so her brand of quirky folk-tinged delivery suits me fine. Listen, and enjoy!

Nifty little accessory
I had one exactly like this and managed to misplace it, hence the need to purchase a new one. Great for balancing camera on flat or slightly irregular surfaces for pin-sharp timer photos. I use mine a lot to take pictures of items I want to sell on eBay!
