Good all round Quick Release Clamp
Ideal for use on a camera slider or tripod. Easy to use, well built and pretty rugged. Well worth the price.

Ease of use is not what I would say
Overall the device for what it does, works perfectly but.
Using 2.5 drives (laptop type HD) in the front bay is a bit awkward trying to plug HD in. What would have been better is, if there were guides around the socket, so no mistakes or misalignments.
The 3.5inch drive bay for IDE's is ok but trying to get a hardrive out is a nightmare due to the usual problem of the molex socket (power socket to you and me) Very tight but works as it should.
The SATA socket no issues, fits perfectly no struggles and does what it should.
The minidisc with the software on is NOT needed, especially in relation to a windows pc (not sure about Macs)
As regards transfer speed, windows was indicating whilst copying some files from HD to PC at 16.4meg per sec If thats any good I'm not sure.
I did notice the IDE drive I had plugged in was quite hot to the touch when I unplugged it. This was after around 15-20mins of usage. Not sure if thats normal or not though I am thinking it might not be. The SATA drives and eventually the 2.5 inch drives I tested all worked also but didn;t notice any warmth on them.
One thing you need to remember is ejecting the drive, switching off the device before removing any harddrive. I don't think this is capable of hot-swapping.
Bottom line, it worked as it should and does what I need it to do.

Easy to use and quick!
1 of 1 found this helpful Never done a sensor clean before and first checked out a few video reviews.
Best advice, is make sure you have a clean space on a table or desk. Lay out the items ready. You don't need gloves of any kind to do this. Make sure you have a Air Dust Blower and take your time.
Make sure (dependent on your dslr) that you select the option to manually clean the sensor. Plenty of how-to videos on this on YT. Watch if unsure before attempting a clean.
Remove the body cap and hold the camera upside down and give a few blows with an Air Dust Blower (don't use compressed air). Then take out one of the swabs and place 2 drops of the cleaning liquid on each side of the swab. Gently set the swab on the left edge of the sensor and slide across to the right. Don't remove the swab from the right side, instead slide the swab across the sensor back to the left. And thats all there is to it.
Before connecting a lens give that a wipe down and use the Air Dust Blower on this also. Infact you should do this before connecting any lens any time.
If after checking the sensor still has marks and you've followed the steps a 2nd time, I would advise taking it to a camera shop and getting advice or even pay for it to be specially cleaned.
I have used this now on 3 different cameras (all Canons) and after doing test shots the spots have been cleaned away first time on all 3.
