Superb treatise on Arab Archery
This book is a fascinating insight into traditional archery and can be used as an instruction manual which is a relevant today as it was circa 1500 AD. It also contains many insights not contained in modern manuals i.e. how to shoot a horseman or in the unlikely event of encountering a lion!
The only negative aspect is the poor quality of some of the photographic reproductions.
All in all a great book on archery and a particular gem for those interested in thumb release techniques.

Disappointing.
The narrative of the book is poorly constructed and contains very little information on the subject. I appreciate that Simo was a very reserved individual which would have made the authors task difficult.
