What can I say about Terminator 3. Well, if you think you’re going to get a movie that is as well written, acted and generally fantastic as the original terminator and terminator 2, look again. Because this is not the same calibre as its predecessors. However considering there is a 12 year gap between this film and terminator 2; the story line is solid and generally stays true to the originals. It's certainty worth buying if you liked the fist 2 films and as you can buy it pretty cheap these days is a good film just to pick up and watch on a Friday night. It has fairly good re-watch value and plenty of action which is exactly what a terminator film needs. So to sum up I give Terminator 3, 4 out of 5 Swartzenagers.

1986 Hornby model R817 Eton
This is one of the best Margate (UK) built models that Hornby ever made.
It extremely highly detailed for the time and runs beautifuly and I think it holds it's own compared to many of todays best models.
It's tender powered by a ringfield motor so no wheel slip I'm afraid but, if well maintained, runs very smoothly and quietly. This model also has pickups on the front bogie too so all the wheels have pickups. This gives it excellent reliability and makes very smooth over points for example.
The detail is superb for a model of this era. Both the moulding and the paint work is very high quality. The tiny name plates on the side are readable and the cab is partially painted, there is fine rivet detail around the buffers and the whistles and reverse rod are separately fitted metal items.
If it has glazed windows and sprung buffers it would honestly contend with the latest and greatest from Hornby today.

Only buy it if there is literally nothing else available.
Why on earth is everyone giving this such good reviews?
I suppose for the price it's not bad, but seriously out of all the VHS players I’ve owned, this is the worst.
First of all, there is no S-Video or RGB scart connection so you have to make to with composite AV connection which looks awful on large TVs. It adds a sort of grainy appearance to everything you play; even the settings menu looks grainy and fuzzy.
It really is a basic machine too, there isn’t even a timer to tell you how far into a tape you are, which is really annoying if you’re trying to fast-forward or re-wind to a specific place or a specific amount of time because it's all guess work.
The remote control is compact and so is the machine so that's good if you’re tight on space. However the build quality is questionable. It just had a generally plastic feel to it, and not nice plastic, cheep plastic. However it does have reliability on its side, I've had it for about 4 years now without ant fault whatsoever, but that's probably because I haven’t used it very much!
My advice is stay away form this machine, there are hundreds of better ones out there that you can pick up pretty cheaply nowadays. If you’re looking for a really good VHS recorder to play some of the old home movies and recordings, I recommend something like the Panasonic NV-HS1000, now there is a machine! Alternatively, if finding one of those is proving too expensive, anything in the Panasonic NV-HS range is of exceptional quality; try the NV-HS900, NV-HS800 or NV-HS950.
