Lloytron USB Powered AA/AAA Smart Battery Charger B1527

Can't trust using this charger.

My old Lloytron charger has been great, but it's 15yrs old now. I thought I'd get a new charger and I trusted my old Lloytron brand. Also being USB it can been used almost anywhere now. This new charger does not look or feel anywhere near the quality of the old one. First it will not charge a low discharged battery. less than 25% it will not start charging. It also charged two sets of my batteries until they were too hot to handle. I had to disconnect the charger to let batteries cool down. Unless I've got a faulty chager, I'm NOT willing to trust using this again.
