Daryl Hall has no equal
A great solo album by the legendary Daryl Hall. Melody, rhythm, rock, soul and blues written and performed by one of the greatest voices of the 70's/80's/90's. Why can't they write stuff like this nowadays?

A great album from an age when music sounded good, and vocalists could actually carry a tune.
Recorded in 1977, 'Along the Red Ledge' was one of Hall & Oates early albums, and featured a variety of styles, from the wildly popular 'It's a Laugh' and 'I Don't Wanna Lose You', to the lesser known but still excellent titles 'The Last Time' and 'Serious Music', Along the Red Ledge spans the spectrum of rock, rhythm, blues and blue eyed soul in a foreshadowing of what would become their key sound in the 1980's.
Largely out of print, this record is an excellent addition to the library of any Hall & Oates fan.
