One of the most impressive images on any projector.
This is actually one of the best projectors available. The black level isn't great but since it is so bright the picture looks amazing. Shows how important brightness is in projectors. This isn't HDR or 4K but the images are better than any HDR projector I've seen. There are various settings you need to adjust and 'brilliant colour' setting should be on I think for the best image. Smart Eco also may help as it works almost like an iris depending on image content.

Very good for this class of projectors.
Very good and similar to the Z6 but with upgraded OS (the DMD is not the same but must be very similar as I've compared both and not seen much difference). Note that these DMD type of projectors will never get the same contrast and brightness of the larger bulb types but they are good enough for most people. Note that the DMD is actually 720p with pixel shifting but this is common with these types (a lot of the 4k are 1080p with pixel-shifting). The Mogo Pro is also only 540p but 1080p with pixel shifting but that has a far inferior image to this one in terms of resolution and sharpness which makes me question how effective pixel shifting really is if the difference is so noticeable.
Be careful about plugging and unplugging the HDMI while it is on as this can damage the DMD chip which will then need to be replaced (you will start getting white spots starting at the edge and multiplying with time inside the image).

Highly Overrated - it seems people haven't compared it with others.
1 of 2 found this helpful Poor contrast, brightness and resolution. The XGIMI Z6 has far improved picture despite being advertised also as 1080p but the resolution is far better. The brightness and contrast is also much better on the Z6. Crushes blacks also. Looking into the specs, they both use lower than 1080p DMD with pixel shifting. On this evidence the 540p (MoGo Pro) DMD does not work as well as the 720p (z6) DMD for pixel shifting. The pixels are also far too visible with the MoGo Pro and the picture gets even worse if displayed off center (to the side the resolution looks even worse).
