Handy pocket tool

Obviously, it's hard to be precise when you are trying to make small edge adjustments to your board or take out a small dink from, say, catching an edge on a rock, when you are up a mountain due to the lack of a proper means of securing your board. However, this is a very handy, light weight, pocket sized tool none-the-less and it does offer more precision than the other portable edge stones I've tried in the past. Let's face it, if the damage is really bad, you'll need to take your to be repaired and you aren't really likely to make any major adjustments to your edge angles until you can clamp your board in a vice and use more heavy duty tools

This is an intelligently designed fan and I really like it

No fan can ever be truly silent. However, this fan is about as quiet as a fan can realistically get, particularly at the lower speeds. Obviously, the sound increases with the speed of the motor, but that is to be expected. Even on lower speed settings, it makes a noticeable difference to the air current and temperature. It also has some great features, such as: vertical oscillation, which can either be used on its own or together with horizontal oscillation (or the fan can be used stationary at an angle both vertically and horizontally chosen by you); the eco setting, which measures the air temperature in the room and adjusts the speed of the fan accordingly, so when the temperature in the room drops, the fan will slow down instead of going full blast, which could make the user too cold; the digital display can be turned off so that the fan can be used in a dark room where people are sleeping without generating any annoying light; there is a timer; and there is a handy area in the middle in which the magnetized controller can be stored so that it isn't lost down the couch, for instance! This is an intelligently designed fan and I really like it.
