Panasonic at its best
Panasonic were undoubtedly king of the boomboxes in the 90s. This model in particularly was one of the best . Rich tones and excellent bass give an overall delightful listening experience.
The build quality is first class and reassuringly heavy denoting a robust machine throughout. Soft opening mechanisms are a joy.
Modern equivalents may have more bells and whistles ie bluetooth etc but do not compare to the sound of this machine. After all we surely buy these devices for the quality of sound, not how may different things it can do.
