Amazing Value for a great phone
I got this phone and at the the same time got a Note S10+ for my wife. So it was an interesting comparison of features and valued. physcially speaking there is little difference between the two if you look at them. The Note 9 has a few pros over the 10+ and a few cons. When you go for the 10+ you get Extra wide angle camera Better speakers Faster chip if you do some really GPU intensive stuff. More memory Slightly longer battery life Some fancier S pen stuff. With the Note 9 You get a real headphone jack (not a usb-c) Glass screen protectors that work (the edge to edge screen to the 10 makes it hard to put on glass screen protectors). A stupid bixby button. A lot more cash left over. Both phones work great, when your using them for videos and surfing there is little difference you would notice. The screens a large, and bright and beautiful and have a strong blue tint (even with the blue light filter). If you've got the bread go for the 10+. But if your looking for a value the Note 9 is hard to beat. You can get a like new used one for a fraction of the price of a new one and it runs everything just as wonderfully great. I hooked it up to a monitor using screen mirror and Dex with a USB-C dock. Worked great. It didn't play well with google chromecast however. So far its been happy with all my bluetooth devices. The camera is nice, though I haven't had a chance to push it in low light/bad conditions. It works great for around the house. I got the 128g model which for me is oodles of memory. I slapped on all my apps and there is still 90+ Gig free. Then there is the ability to use a memory card. Put a 128G memory card in it. I keep all my music and long term data on the card. That way if I have to do a factory reset on the phone I don't have to chase all that stuff down and put it back on. In short its a great phone, a wonderful upgrade and unless you demand the latest and greatest an awesome value for a lot of phone.
