Best recording of a Rock Group Legend, performance, audio and video AAA
2 of 2 found this helpful This DVD is from the MTV Special from 1994, named after what Don Henley would always reply when asked if the Eagles would reform. So after fouteen years apart, they reformed in 1994 for an eleven track live, four studio tracks on the CD version. The Eagles second Live album after the 1980 Eagles Live, which was put together remotely after the break-up.
This DVD is hard to find, almost rare. If you are an Eagles fan, you probably already have it. If you don't find it. It is a great sounding and honest performance of just how great the guys are. Don is a bit of a perfectionist, so he does show on the rehearsal footage, his true side. Even though there have been issues, the performance, recording and stage show is the best I have ever seen.
One major note is, the recording is in DTS (not Dolby Digital 5.1) but if you have a modern home theater set-up you will get it in surround if it supports DTS. There is a bonus Audio Only in DTS of Seven Bridges Road, that gives all the harmonies of the guys a run.
