New 6.5" bass units for old hi fi speakers
1 of 1 found this helpful These replacement Eagle branded speakers were excellent value for money and very well made for a very reasonable price. Very happy with them.
The lower bass response doesn't extend into a sub woofer range capacity (these are only 6.5" units) and cut off below 50Hz, but the construction of these units is very solid with very substantial permanent magnets. They handle power very well without resonating and worked well in my old 3 way speaker cabinets with bass reflex aperture. I wouldn't try using these in a sealed speaker box!
If you want true HiFi reproduction you would need to spend much more money so the description as a mid range product was very accurate.
