100% better than Bissell!
It's so much better than the past 2 Bissells I had. I love that I control when the steam is on with the easy trigger. The Bissell is always on which is not always good. I also love how the pad pops off and there is a bristle brush underneath for scrubbing floors. It works wonderfully on my tile floors. I also like that the water reservoir is removable for easy filling at the sink. The Bissell is very awkward because you have to lay the whole steamer mop on its side at the sink and try to align the faucet with where the hole is. Also makes it difficult to empty the water when you are finished. The Hoover also has an additional, removable reservoir for a cleaning solution. I haven't tried it yet as I haven't needed it, but in case I do it's a great feature. The attachments all come with the Hoover steamer vs the Bissell where most of them have to be purchased separately. The brushes go in the on board holder on the back of the Hoover steamer. Again, very convenient idea.
