Useful adapter

Very nice compact and useful adapter for connecting old laptop hard drives to PC. Connection is easy, but according to sata power cable, the first disconnection is hard and need careful skill to avoid damage. And yes it functions well, only I didn't try booting through it yet, but it shows HDD in my MB boot selection menu.

Ok, this RAID controler is like new. I think I configured the controller in BIOS correctly, and yes it's bootable on pre uefi BIOS board. But my freshly instaled arch linux on RAID 0 just crashed. After using hard reset several times (because system freezes) my ext4 filesystem on / got corrupt. The supercapacitor batery was connected and I used writetrough option, but it did not help. I think now that it's not compatible with computer hard resseting on RAID 0. Waste of money.
