Bright like the surface of the sun.
I would give this an 9/10 and thats only down to the fact that I have sausage fingers and the switch is a little small as most torches of this size. It also gets extremely hot on turbo mode which I tend to use the most, so the stated lumens are a little misleading as its only that bright for a short time. (Normally its only incredibly bright and not welding flash bright lol)
The lamp gets very hot, I would say enough to cause damage to unprotected skin or gear so lockout mode is very useful but a little finnicky.
Swings and roundabouts really. Its very well made and does its job superbly.
I use this everyday and hardly notice its there until I need it.
I would definately recommend this for EDC and general use but like most of these its not an 'instant on' option that would be suitable for security due to switch configuration.

High quality product with a few design flaws.
Well made product as always from Otterbox. There is a cut out on the right for one of the switches which makes it awkward to hold on this model, but it does stop it slipping from your hand when outdoors.
I prefer older style that has the integrated screen protector, (like on the defender for the Note4 and buttons are not recessed). The recessed side detracts from protective ability to some extent but its still one of the best on the market. I wouldn't buy this product for full price though if I had the choice of something with a metal frame with integrated screen protector for half the price.
It's also difficult to remove if your swapping batteries on a regular basis.
Overall its a decent case but they should have stayed with original design and it's quite expensive for what it is.
