economical and dissolves well.

Using this as recommended in v.small amounts of about 1/4 teaspoon for about 4 gallons of aquarium water to improve the mineral content for keeping shrimp. Can't comment on it's efficacy yet at there are so many variables but it is economical and dissolves well.

Great for the price

This is a powerful and attractive light fitting. It's perfect for a utility type, hallway, environment maybe a kitchen where you need good light (up to 18w of led light which is equivalent to just over 100w incandescent) . It's not decorative enough for a living or bedroom IMHO. I got this for about £9 which made it extremely good value but even at the usual price of £14.66, I still would have been well pleased. The three colour modes are a novelty and you may find you prefer one over the others and this will allow you to choose, but , unless its the first one that come on when you flip the switch, you'll have to get used to flicking the switch twice or thrice every time. I had hoped it would remember my preference and set that as the default but sadly it doesn't. I came up with a workaround to change the first light to come on from cool white to Warm white by transposing the wires coming out of the LED driver. Simple and safe (12v wires) though I imagine the advice would be to get a qualified electrician to do it. Enjoy.
