OK, but...
2 of 4 found this helpful The clear plastic lid has to be smacked with your hand to get it to fit over the aluminum canister. The lid is just a little too small for the canister.
The dasher doesn't scrape the walls of the canister very well, it misses the canister walls by about 1/8".
Aside from the poor quality of the fit of the components, it does make ice cream. The ice cream will have a frozen portion due to the ice cream mix freezing solid to the canister wall. Decanting the ice cream from the canister to another storage container becomes a two part process. First get the soft ice cream out of the canister, then scrape the walls and bottom of the canister to remove the rest of the ice cream.
