Chrome cast 3rd Gen breathes new life into old dumb projector.

I bought this to connect to an old Phillips Picopix led projector in lieu of a TV upstairs. It all worked brilliantly. WiFi reception on the Chromecast is excellent, even in places where other hardware struggles. I also bought short HDMI and USB adapters so the Chromecast full size HDMI plug and USB micro sockets could use the projectors mini HDMI and mini USB sockets. The Chrome does need power via its micro USB slot, but didn't draw very much so happily sits connected to the projector for both power and video output, so it's a really compact solution with only 1 power supply cable running up the wall. Setup was really easy (I already have Google Home up and running) and I'd sorted my router settings when trying to get other smart equipment running. I was up and running with a smart tv/projector in about 15 minutes, excellent!

Proops Grinding Wheel Dresser & Spare Wheels Dressing Grinders Engineering X1198

Rescued an old and very gouged rinding wheel.

Bought this since I had been gifted an old bench grinder with one wheel badly grooved. Easy to use and only consumed about 25% of one set of discs (it was VERY grooved) so this will see quite a few more (hopefully) lighter uses given it came with a spare set of discs. The rescued grinding wheel surface is literally as good as new and there's plenty of wear left on it.
