Excellent product
A good yarn for “crocheteer” like myself, which I have used before. Very happy with quality and colour. Good value for money.

A photographic and textual masterpiece.
Although it arrived a day later than predicted it was worth the wait. The entire Cote d'Azur with its breath-taking scenery described & detailed in vivid colour with a text to match. I had the privilege to spend some seven months working there (was a bit younger then!!) but I only took a few rare pictures, mostly of Nice where I was based. With Covid-19 now it's a bit of a problem to go anywhere, but things are on the turn, little by little. Thank you/ merci beaucoup, ce livre est epoustouflant (the book is fantastic) !! Good solid work of reference.
It's a throw-back to the 70s in regard to some of the aircraft described therein & which now no longer fly (notably the 707, DC-8, VC-10 and others), and Concorde gets a big thumbs-up (from me as well, as I flew it from Paris to New York once, my husband paid for the tickets, what an experience!!) and now I'd say it's more of a reference work than something you'd buy for a leisurely read, but the overall content is all solidly based factually established and completely credible. There is also a "Pilot Assessment Test" at the end of the book (which I failed!!). Kind regards, Marie S.
