Just right

As described; the uninsulated ones are my go-to wire cutters/strippers but I wanted an insulated pair...just in case. I haven't used them much but when I have they're sharp & strong and well-enough made for £15.

Apologies if this isn't helpful. I don't do much electronic soldering and haven't used it yet. It's not quite what I was expecting though, being a hard amber resin. What I've used successfully in the past was a soft paste the consistency of wet clay into which I dipped my copper wires which then 'soaked' up the solder easing the flow/transfer of the solder. I'm not sure that this hard amber resin will be able to do this.
