House of the Dead 2 (Sega Dreamcast, 1999) Video Game 51022

Really good conversion of the arcade game, aged in graphics compared to modern games, but definitely aged well
Having owned all 3 region releases of this game, I can confirm that it's a solid experience. The lightgun action (so long as you have a CRT monitor/TV) is great and requires good skill. The story overall is pretty good aswell if you take the other 5 games into account. It's only downside according to others is the voice acting, but being partially tone deaf, only two of the characters VA's really stood out as bad to me. Also the ability to choose between green and red blood is also a bonus. And as usual for tHotD, the soundtrack is great and really helps to get you into the action. Just be sure to have a 50/60hz CRT, as lightguns won't work one anything else, and playing with a standard control or arcade stick is pretty hard to do well.

TRIXIE WOODEN SMALL PARROT PARAKEET COCKATIEL PLAYGROUND PLAY STAND SWING 5658
    22 Jun, 2021
Alright for the price, better ones on the market though
Bought this playground for a diamond dove and cockatiel. Given the going price (about 20) its a decent playground for someone on a budget. Firstly, you will need a screwdriver, mallet hammer and wood filer as the perches were near impossible to get in without one. The top perch was so tight that whilst trying to get the dowel to go through, it got stuck, meaning the perch only comes out at one side, not both. I hit a bit harder to get it to go through and the base actually snapped and had to be glued back together, much to mine and my doves surprise. Despite this it'll be fine for my smaller birds, anything bigger would easily topple it over though. The cups provided also seemed a bit redundant to me, as they cannot hold any liquids, and would be a pain to clean due to how course the insides are, as well as the chance of moisture soaking into it and eventually rotting the wood. I feel similarly to the random piece of hanging wood that comes with the set. I left both items detached from the playground, as I could easily use the hook for something more engaging and fun. The swing is alright though, not the best but you could easily replace it with something else of a similar size. Wouldn't recommend it to any birds that swing aggressively, as it could come off of the hooks as none of them are closed. For more docile birds it'll do fine though. The dowel perches are quite smooth, and if this is going to be your only out-of-cage perch, I'd highly recommend carving a tonne of slits into at least half of them for variety. Other than that, they do their function well enough and won't be easily tugged out by a small bird. The whole thing actually attaches to the base quite well, and could be easily detached again for transport/storage if needed. The base is alright, though a few splintering pieces had to be removed from mine. Overall ok for a playground on a tight space/money budget, if you have the space/money for something bigger and better, then I'd avoid this and get one that's higher quality, but for someone with space constraints, such as myself, it works decently. Wouldn't recommend for anything heavier than 100 grams though.
Dreamcast THE TYPING OF THE DEAD with Keyboard Boxed Ref 2308 dc

Pretty good game if you have the coordination for it
Interesting take on the tHotD series honestly. Pretty much keeps to the main story but messes with the endings in a more comedic fashion. Also acts as a pretty compelling touch typing teacher if your capable enough. Much harder to play than the light gun equivalent if you have coordination issues (from personal experience). Playing the Japanese version can be hard if it isn't your first language despite the game telling you which buttons to press, as certain parts of the game require you to answer questions, which is pretty hard if you don't understand the answers or the question itself. Japanese version will also work with the pal/ntsc u keyboard and vise versa. Also allows you to play either of the two characters depending on where you plug in your keyboard aswell, which was unexpected but nice as I do prefer playing as player two for the second game. For the full keyboard sets, either does the same thing. The only differences I can see are cosmetic, most notably the color of the keyboards and the size of the boxes. You could also just buy the game and keyboard separately if your not worried about collecting the full keyboard sets.
